C. B. Kondor

Much of my work is a vignette that tells a story, a folk tale, a remembrance.
The play of light, form and 'silent' or negative spaces all help create the movement
of each work.  Nature in all it's forms is important to me and finds its way into many
of my canvases. Art is a way to bring in new colors and ideas. My art sometimes
relates to our past and simply grounds the viewer, acting as a connector between
heaven and earth. There is room for humor in my art was well.

Cherriney has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania
and a Master of Education in learning Resources and Mass Media from Indiana University
of Pennsylvania.  She has "dual citizenship" in the East and in New Mexico.
