Carol Cook

"Pastel pigment is EYE CANDY.  It is the same pigment used in oils, only with a different binder, and is archival.
It is perfect to capture the incredible colors and beauty of the American Southwest.
I am in my element in nature, and a sense of place and peace and connectedness is what I hope to convey in my landscapes.
I have shown my work in juried shows, and have pieces in private collections in the U.S. and Europe."
